Sadguru Dattatreya
Sadguru Dattatreya (Lord Datta), supreme Guru in the universe, is an embodiment of Christ Consciousness. He is in the form of pure energy but does take any form when required. Mythologically, He is the coalesced form of Trinity Gods- Creator, Preserver and Destroyer i.e. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva and thus capable of doing and undoing the functions of any of the three. He is supposedly spreading the seeds of yoga, knowledge, compassion, truth, sincerity, purity, faith etc. and thereby elevating the human beings to the highest pedestal of development i.e. Self-realization.

Though omnipresent, His energy is said to be more concentrated in yoga-sadhana centres in The Himalayas (India), Girnar range  (Gujarat, India) and other places. It is believed  that He makes His presence felt as and when remembered anywhere by anybody sincerely. Earlier, He offered a Stotra of 22 couplets in the Sanskrita language to Maharishi Daladan Muni for the emancipation of human beings. But as you know a lot of  stress and unhappiness is prevalent in modern society due to competition because of which people remain extremely busy in fulfilling daily schedules; they do not get sufficient time and inclination to do long prayers. For the alleviation of stress and unhappiness He has now offered a phrase of only a few words "HARI OM TATSAT JAI GURU DATTA" for experiencing peace and happiness in these turbulent times through their chanting alone.
